God put it on my heart a while back to create a website.  I was not sure how to even get started, but I knew that God would provide a way.  My prayer is that God will use this as a tool to encourage and inspire people.

My name is Carmen McLean, and I am married to a wonderful man, Chris McLean.  We are blessed to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary this year.  I am also the mother of two beautiful children, Nathan, 21, and Nicholas, 18.  They are my incredible gifts from God.  We recently moved to Georgia, where we belong to an amazing, spirit-filled church.

My path has taken many interesting turns over the years, and I pray that God will use my experiences to reach out to others.  I grew up in a pastor's home, but due to unfortunate circumstances, my parents divorced when I was 16.  My teenage years were very troubled as I struggled to find my place.

After getting married when I was nineteen, my life took on a new chapter. My husband and I gave birth to our first child, Nathan, one year after we were married, and then our second child, Nicholas, came along almost two and a half years later.  Although I was young and inexperienced, God taught me a great deal during those years.  I thank God every day for blessing me with such an extraordinary family.

God has been so faithful to me.  He has helped me in overcoming marital struggles, managing financial difficulties, raising kids (now in college!), working through family dysfunctions and addictions, and mainly growing up in Him.

The restoration that comes from God has played an enormous role in my life.  God has brought restoration for me in my family, my finances, and most importantly, my soul, and I believe that God wants to bring restoration to His people.  Many of us walk around scarred, bruised, and wounded from the blows life has dealt, but God longs to bring complete healing and restoration to each one of us.  God has great plans for you!
